Prior to the PR award show Spinn, Prime – with their ten nominations – was expected to take home many of the categories, followed by Volontaire with six nominations. But when the nation's best efforts in public relations was praised Edelman Deportivo won the most golds, namely three!
Edelman Deportivo won "The best PR campaign" with "Press Play to Give", for the client UNICEF Sweden and ABBA the Museum. The same campaign also won a gold in the category "Best non-profit".
- The campaign is an innovative way to develop the organization's core business; to collect money. To collect gifts in a way where the dealer does not pay, it is a fantastic idea. So simple for all parties. It will be fun to see whether UNICEF’s campaign can develop a long-term concept. I hope to see more innovation at this level going forward, says Caroline Forsshéll, chairman of the Spinn jury.
The third gold was won for the "The Business to Business” category with “Mynewsdesk and Kerstin 82” for the client Mynewsdesk, as also won a silver for “Best Content Marketing”.
