Students are perceived to be forward thinking and tech obsessive, yet they haven’t changed drinking habits since the 1800’s.
By innovating the way students party we can get them to reflect on their alcohol consumption. Encouraging them to drink smarter and further more, feel better. We created Bottler, a chat bot in Facebook Messenger. Bottler is the students personal party trainers, helping to set goals for the night. Do you want to have an epic night? Wake up on time? Bottler fixes everything.
Using social techniques to get students to drink smarter during their time of studies paid great attention. Our campaign got an earned media reach of 700 000 chat interactions, 15 000 unique interaction with an average of 50 interactions per user – with no paid media at all. But more importantly, by introducing a personal party trainer, we got thousands of students to drink smarter and feeling better.
